Real quick, we got X-23 #6, X-Men #8 and Uncanny X-Men #533. There's also Astonishing X-Men #36, though I don't cover that (as of now). I'm half asleep, so hopefully I didn't post anything stupid.

What I've Been Up To
I know I have not posted a review in a while. Sorry about that, but I've been focusing on the podcast lately, trying to get some things worked out on the tech side of things. I'll probably just go back and put out short versions of missing reviews in a couple mass posts in the few days. I haven't decided yet, but I may end up staying a couple weeks behind on my comics, but I'll still keep posting, just a little late. I'll be that kid who laughs at the joke told two minutes ago. But that's pretty much it. No massive snowpocalypse or anything else to prevent me from picking anything up. Just been busy.

Fan-Made Wolverine Trailer (Wolverine vs. The Hand)
So I was on Jason Aaron's Blog and I came across this fan-made Wolverine movie trailer. I'll just post it and let you give your thoughts.
Wolverine Vs The Hand from Gary Shore on Vimeo.
A Very Strange Wolverine Picture
This is from the Wolverine Gallery in the back of Wolverine #2 from December 1988. It's drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz.
All I can say is "Wtf?" There are so many oddities here, from the shoes, to the hat, to the freaking bandana on his arm. It's great. Click on the picture to see it in its full glory.
Leave a comment about what you think of this ridiculous drawing!

New Releases: February 16, 2011
This week we have three books coming out. Looking for a new series to pick up? Uncanny X-Force #5 and Wolverine #6 begin new story arcs and Wolverine & Jubilee is only on issue #2, so you can pick up the first one and jump on with no problem. For those of you not reading it right now, I would highly reccomend giving Uncanny X-Force a shot.

Episode 1: Reboot (Not The TV Series)
Yes, we are renumbering the podcast. It's time to start fresh with the new direction. I WILL be rereleasing the old episodes in case anybody actually wants to listen to them. You can call this Volume 2 if you'd like, since there were six old episodes, just like the original Wolverine mini series (and there was even an episode #-1). We have a little chat about Daken and I seem to bring up the same unfunny Monty Python reference throughout the whole episode for some reason.
Books Covered:
Wolverine & Jubilee #1, Wolverine #5, Wolverine: The Best There Is #2, X-23 #5 , Uncanny X-Force #4
Wolverine Throwback:
Wolverine (Vol. 2) #1-3 [Next Episode: #4-6]

New Releases: February 9, 2011
Real quick here. We got Wolverine #1000, Wolverine #5.1 & New Avengers #9. I'm not a huge fan of these giant-sized anthology issues (and the $4.99 either), but we'll see. Wolverine #5.1 is supposed to be a great jumping-on point, and New Avengers is...New Avengers.

The Podcast Has Moved!
But the blog is still here.
It's official now, the feed has moved! Podomatic is not the best option so we are switching podcast hosts to LibSyn. It's time to move on to bigger and better things. If you use itunes, just type in Wolverine Berserker Podcast and find the new location and resubscribe. This feed will eventually disappear *poof* and the new one will take its place.
Here's the new podcast page on LibSyn: http://wolverinepodcast.libsyn.com/
If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to email me at: wolverinepodcast@yahoo.com

Daken's Future?
Liu and Way are leaving the series after issue #9, as I gladly spread the rumors...
Daniel Way and Marjorie Liu's shocking announcement that they will be parting ways with the book after issue #9, makes me wonder what the future will hold for the son of Wolverine. I'm very disappointed to hear that the Liu/Way writing team will be no more, because I thought they were doing an exceptional job with Daken: Dark Wolverine.
I'm not a fan of speculation, but I still have a thought in the back of my head: Will Daken die?
There a chance that the series could be finished after their departure since no succeeding writer has been announced yet. So can Way and Liu be playing us in the X-Position interview when they talk about their faith in the new writer? If that's the case, it would be a shame. Either way, the fact that it CAN happen makes things that much more interesting. If I am completely off (which I probably am) you can pretend you didn't hear it from me, but if it does happen (there's a chance) then HA! I was right. If not, it will be interesting to see someone else take the reigns and give their vision of Daniel Way's character.

New Releases: February 2, 2011
This week there are two new books:
Daken: Dark Wolverine #5
Wolverine: The Best There Is #3
Daken: Dark Wolverine #5 brings about the much anticipated (by me anyways) beginning of the story introduced last issue with Daken heading to Madripoor (with a potential showdown with Bucky?). I can't say I'm as excited for Wolverine: The Best There Is #3, but we'll see. I do think that the cover looks great.
Also don't forget that Wolverine: The Reckoning HC, is out this week as well.
What are you picking up this week?
So until next time, happy reading and godspeed.
