Bendis and Maleev is a creative team I would have loved to see on this character about eight years ago, but at this point it's really hard for me to work up any enthusiasm for either of them, especially Bendis. Still, it could have some potential...Bendis tends to do better with solo characters than team books, in my opinion.
I've heard that from a lot of people actually. I really haven't read enough of Bendis to have an opinion. It seems like he writes half of the Marvel U, but it just so happens that he doesn't write any books I read (until I started new avengers). Most of what I've read of him have been from events.
