A Very Strange Wolverine Picture

This is from the Wolverine Gallery in the back of Wolverine #2 from December 1988. It's drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz.

All I can say is "Wtf?" There are so many oddities here, from the shoes, to the hat, to the freaking bandana on his arm. It's great. Click on the picture to see it in its full glory.

Leave a comment about what you think of this ridiculous drawing!

  1. Wow. Who drew this thing? And why is every hair on Wolvie's body standing on end? Haha...

  2. Haha 'wow' is correct. I love this one because it's so silly looking. The artist was Bill Sienkiewicz. I couldn't make out the signature or the style, so I actually had to do a little research.

  3. HA!!! That may be the worst Wolvie drawing I've EVER seen, and I've seen a lot! Why is his head so small compared to his sholders?! And what is up with those boots?! I have to second Marc here, wow!

  4. He has a Dwight Howard body. I think I'm gonna start scanning the worst Wolverine panels/drawings I can find and start posting them haha.

  5. Sienkiewicz was actually my guess...well, a really drunk Sienkiewicz! Sam Kieth would have been number two, although 1988's a little early for him to be drawing Wolverine.

And that would be awesome if you posted horribly drawn pictures of Wolverine. It would be even better if you made it into a "guess which artist did this" kind of thing...assuming the artists are people who actually have name recognition, which they probably wouldn't a good deal of the time!

  6. Yeah that sounds cool too (the "guess who drew this" idea). I'll definitely keep my eye out for some poorly drawn Logan's when I read my comics now.
